Today Tristan was playing with some cars when all of a sudden he jumped up, went to the "junk drawer" and grabbed something.

What he grabbed was a screwdriver!  Evidently, this car needed some fixing...

Winter Fun!

Well, it finally snowed here in Northeast Iowa.  Jackson was especially happy about this because it meant he could go outside and play in the snow!  We went up to our friend Wesley's house and did a little sledding.

Christmas...again

As I mentioned in an earlier post, Aunt Sharon and Uncle Byron were not able to be with us at Christmastime.  They were able to come to Iowa today so we celebrated one more Christmas with them at Shirley's house.  We started off with another delicious meal compliments of Shirley and Sharon.  Then opened some presents.

Another successful Christmas!

Nice winter weather

The weather in Iowa so far this winter has been unseasonably warm.  In other words, it's been great!  We've been able on some days to play in the park in sweatshirts.  It definitely helps with the cabin fever that usually comes along with January.  Here's a few pics of us playing in the park with our good friend Wes.

Happy birthday Mike!

Today is Mike's 34th birthday!  We celebrated by heading over to his house after he was done with basketball for pizza and cupcakes.  We bought the pizza and I made the cupcakes, with a little help decorating from two little boys.  Jackson and Tristan also both made birthday cards for Mike.

Mom and Dad joined us at Mike's as well as Mike's roommate Barry and his son Brodie.  Jackson and Brodie are about the same age so they played well together while the rest of us visited.  It was a very nice evening.  Happy birthday Mike!
